This Privacy Policy explains how Crème Mind AI LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use In Limine. We take privacy seriously — not as a legal formality, but because our customers are attorneys whose professional obligations depend on it.
In Limine processes two distinct categories of data:
These are treated differently. Attorney account data is processed by us to operate the service. Intake data belongs to you (the attorney). We process it solely on your behalf.
When you create an account and use In Limine, we collect:

We do not sell intake data, share it with third parties for any purpose other than operating the service, or use it to train AI models. Intake data is stored in your firm's isolated data environment and is inaccessible to other accounts.
In Limine uses Anthropic's Claude API to process intake conversations and generate summaries. Intake content is transmitted to Anthropic's servers for this purpose. Anthropic's use of API data is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. As of the date of this policy, Anthropic does not use API-submitted content to train models by default.

The In Limine marketing website (inlimine.legal) uses minimal session cookies required for navigation. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party advertising cookies, or behavioral analytics on the marketing site.
The application (app.inlimine.legal) uses session cookies to maintain your authenticated state. We use basic server-side logging for performance and error monitoring.

Attorney account data is retained for the life of your account and deleted within 90 days of account closure. Intake data is retained as long as your account is active and for 30 days after closure, after which it is permanently deleted unless you export it first.
Prospective clients who complete an intake through your firm's In Limine widget may contact you directly to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information. As the attorney and data controller, you are responsible for responding to those requests. If a prospective client contacts us directly, we will direct them to you.
We will notify you of material changes by email to your account address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
